Receivables and ageing analysis

Available on Start, Pro and Team. The Receivables tab shows who owes you money as at a selected date, including VAT, because that is what your customer must pay.

  1. Open Reports and select the Receivables tab. The reporting date defaults to today; change it to see an earlier position.
  2. Outstanding means the invoice is finalised and not yet fully paid, taking partial payments and linked credit notes into account. Drafts do not count.
  3. Overdue means the due date has passed and an amount is still outstanding.
  4. The ageing analysis divides the outstanding amount into five groups: Not yet due, 1 to 30 days overdue, 31 to 60 days overdue, 61 to 90 days overdue and more than 90 days overdue.
  5. Click a customer to see individual invoices, with their due dates, days overdue and latest reminder. Click an invoice to open it.
  6. Click Send reminder to preview the reminder for that customer's overdue invoices. Nothing is sent without your confirmation.
