A Peppol document is any invoice or credit note you send or receive through Peppol. If you exceed the limit, everything keeps working and you pay €0.25 per extra document.
Prices without VAT (special small business exemption scheme). Accountants always have free access to their clients' files.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I pay monthly?
- Yes. Paying monthly, Start costs €9.99, Pro €18.99 and Team €43.99 per month, cancel monthly. Paying yearly, you pay the equivalent of €7.99, €14.99 or €34.99 per month, yearly in advance. Existing subscriptions are kept.
- How many documents can I scan?
- Unlimited, on every plan, up to 10 MB per file. A scanned invoice only counts in your accounts after Approve.
- What if I downgrade to Free?
- Recurring invoices pause and you get 14 days of grace for Peppol with a notice and email. You keep receiving during that period. Without a paid plan Peppol is then deregistered. Upgrading before deregistration cancels it. Once restored, paused subscriptions resume automatically from the current period, without billing past periods.
- What happens to my invoices if I close my business?
- A business with final invoices, credit notes, approved purchase invoices or Peppol documents becomes read-only and is kept for 10 years. Via Closed businesses you can export everything as a ZIP with PDF and UBL, even without a paid plan, or reactivate it. Only without such documents can you delete the business permanently.
- What is a Peppol document?
- Every invoice or credit note you send or receive via Peppol counts as 1 Peppol document, in one shared counter that restarts every calendar month. Start includes 25, Pro 50 and Team 150 per month. Quotes, invoices by email and scanned documents do not count and are unlimited.
- What happens above my limit?
- Nothing is blocked: sending and receiving via Peppol keeps working. Each extra Peppol document costs €0.25. You can always see your usage under Settings, Subscription. If you already have a subscription, you keep your current plan and price until renewal.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes. You cancel via Manage subscription. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period and is not renewed afterwards.
- Why don't I pay VAT?
- ProFactuur is published by Zentio, which falls under the special small business exemption scheme. That is why we do not charge VAT.
- Is my subscription deductible?
- Yes, as a business expense. In 2026 and 2027 an increased deduction of 120% also applies to e-invoicing software costs for small businesses. Ask your accountant how this works for you.
